Family, friends, good food, good drinks.
Is there anything better than the holidays?
Well, what they don’t tell you when you’re growing up (though for many of us it was clearly stated in some way, shape, or form by our parents, either directly to us or while they were overcome with stress screaming at each other) is that all that damn food doesn’t cook itself.
Some weirdos, like Mike, enjoy the chaos and stress of trying to cook Thanksgiving dinners and other holiday meals. He flies around the kitchen, glass of scotch in one hand, oven mitt or spatula in the other, flipping, checking, basting, all without losing a single drop of that scotch.
In this section, we’re trying to help you hate hosting holiday dinners a little bit less. We can’t help you deal with your overbearing siblings or parents, but at least you’ll have some good recipes (and tips too!).
And, if you’re like Mike and you get your thrills cooking Thanksgiving Day dinner, then we’ll try to help you find some new ways of cooking classic dinners.
Don’t forget to use #JMLrecipes on your favorite social media channels when posting your holiday dinners and we might feature you on our site!
