Here’s our collection of observations from the daily grind and all the absurdities that come with it.
These articles are broken down into themed categories, each a unique part of our day-to-day lives as we try to make our way in this world.
And, the last category is Random Ramblings, a collection of all kinds of nonsense that couldn’t be contained anywhere else.
Supermarket Adventures
Undoubtedly one of the worst places on earth, and somewhere we have to go every week, the supermarket is a collection of strange quirks and rituals.
Of course, Mike is one of the few who actually enjoys the chaos and sticks to the carefully created list (after all, why have a list if you’re going to browse).
On the other hand, Jess gets claustrophobic and ignores the crowds by straying from the carefully created list and browsing.
That sounds like an adventure to us….

Commuting Oddities
Taking NJ Transit is an adventure all by itself. There are constant cancellations due to a lack of engineers, signal problems, and when in doubt, blame Amtrak!
But there’s so much more. The interactions, people, and events that take place on a daily basis just beg for someone to write them all down.
You’re welcome! (And yes, this is all real life.)

Date Night for Grownups
Once upon a time, long, long ago, we used to do lots of fun things.
We went to Trivia Night on Tuesdays where you got an extra point for every shot you did. We went to drove to Alabama to see the Dave Matthews Band and took day trips to Atlantic City that turned into three-night stays.
We still have our fun, but more often than not, we have date nights that revolve around trying new restaurants, going to museums, and the occasional live recording of a podcast.

Random Ramblings
We needed somewhere to put all the random shit we talk about and see. Can you think of a better name for our articles that range from the creation of Mike’s Tofu Face to the changing skyline of NYC.
It’s a collection of things that makes us laugh, the things we just shake our head at, and anything else that won’t fit in the other categories.
